Gone are the days when we did not count are calorie  intake. We try and make are meals more healthy.... This recipe bakes the falafel patties instead of frying them. I absolutely loved these. We ate them in a wrap loaded with veggies and feta cheese.... mayo and thai chili sauce. Such a filling meal....left us licking our fingers in the end! :D
                       Got this recipe from tasty kitchen blog ....tasted simply divine!

1 can (15 oz size) chickpeas, drained
1 1/2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp coriander
1-2 cloves garlic
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of pepper

  • Put all of the above ingredients into a food processor and blend . Alternatively, you can also use a fork to mash the chickpeas and add in the spices.
  • make small patties out of the chick peas mixture.
  • preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius and bake on a lightly greased pan for about 30 minutes or till they are slightly browned.
